JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

The Alliances Manager, AMS North America will work in conjunction with the sales teams across the region to lead all aspects of Commvault's partnerships with predominantly Hitachi, HPE, NTAP and Lenovo. The Manager will be responsible for driving all stages of the partner life cycle across AMS North America. We are looking for a hands-on, individual contributor who is a 'builder'. Someone who can establish a phenomenal outcome for every relationship within our Alliance Partners and drive joint value propositions to our enterprise customer base. A leader with vision that understands the ins and outs of running Alliance relationships and helps our Partners build a vibrant Commvault practice within their company to grow profitable and long-term customer dedication for both organizations. This role reports to the Vice-President Channel Sales in AMS and forms an integral part of a brand new indirect business division. This is a senior level individual contributor role.

What you'll do...

  • Build and be responsible for the programs and activities with our Alliance Partners that promote joint solutions and grow market share through these relationships.

  • Be the evangelist both internally and externally of these programs, including launch planning and execution. Build partner and industry focus for each partnership and related solutions.

  • Engage at partner executive and practice leader levels to build joint business plans and measure success on a quarterly basis.

  • Conduct weekly reviews of pipeline, deals and forecast with the indirect business team in the region.

  • Enable the sales, marketing and presales teams to position define and to build out the key differentials for joint value propositions.

  • Establish and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans with the Alliances to open up new channels to market.

  • Ensure all partner contractual obligations and service level commitments are being met.

  • Act as the primary interface to our Alliances for our sales, products, marketing, and engineering teams.

  • Recognize and celebrate partner achievements by sharing joint customer success stories.

  • Be responsible for the executive Alliance relationships across Asia Pacific and Japan. Understand and remain current with the competitive and industry landscape,

  • Drive and continuously improve our partner happiness score.

Who you are...

  • At least 10+ years of proven experience in product/solutions program management gained within preferable the software industry.

  • Build joint value propositions and sales plays with partners in the past.

  • Worked at OR with either Hitachi, HPE, NTAP, Lenovo.

  • Familiar with OEM relationships and dynamics.

  • Strong background in partner development ownership and shown success of achieving accretive revenue.

  • Validated experience of running large Alliance relationships across AMS North America.

  • Excellent verbal, negotiation and written communication skills. Confident presenter.

  • Strong motivation. Desire to operate within a fast paced matrix organization.

  • Sound business and commercial/legal awareness.

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$85,000 - $212,800
